My Tomb Raider Birthday cake

I said I wanted to post pictures of my last birthday cake, because it looked so awesome! XD

Okay, so, my mother always makes a super-special-awesome cake when mine or my sister's birthdays come, and she usually paints it with an image of your choosing, depending on what we are liking the most on each year However, this year I was completely out of ideas for WHAT to put on my cake. I had several things before (more info on the end of this description), and I just didn't KNOW what the heck I would want now! Then my mother herself had the great idea of making a Tomb Raider related cake, since it's one of my (and hers too) most favorite games ever Then we went with a theme of the fourth game, "The Last Revelation", since it's my top favorite of the whole series, and the story is all set in Egypt :3

That way, she had the idea to make and model several of her items in the game to put on the cake, as well as a wall with Lara painted on it *-* She used this image, of the game cover: [link] (It didn't turned out identical because we were kinda tight on schedule... Otherwise, my mother would have made it just like the original! xD) She also made some "plaques" imitating stone tablets with important elements of the story... I'm gonna post another picture with more details of them ^_^

Everything was modeled with sugar paste In this image, it shows a front view of the cake, with the Amulet of Horus (main artifact of the game) on the foreground, Uzi ammo clips (those black rectangles) on top, the stone-like letters saying "Tomb Raider", a Small Medipack in the back, a Big Medipack in the bottom right, and in the left side there's a box of Shotgun ammo (normal), as well as Flares on the right side (but those two last are hard to see here).

BTW, this was for my 19th birthday, on September 8th I also plan to upload other pictures of my previous cakes! *-*
